Keys of Asia Celebration 2027

New Year Festival

February 20, 2027 · SUNY Albany Recital Hall

A Year to Compete. A Year to Celebrate.

About the Celebration

Following the great success of our inaugural Sound of Asia Piano Competition in 2026, Key of Asia is proud to establish a new tradition of alternating a Year of Competition with a Year of Celebration. 2027 will be a Year of Celebration as we invite young pianists to come together for a non-competitive New Year Festival, celebrating the Lunar New Year though music.

The SUNY Albany Recital Hall is a professional concert venue with an exceptional acoustic environment and a beautiful performance setting. We want to provide an opportunity for young musicians to experience the excitement and gain confidence from performing in a formal setting.

Student participants will receive a Keys of Asia Young Artist Certificate.
Participating teachers will receive a Keys of Asia Educator Recognition Certificate.
A full-length video recording of the entire event will be available as a lasting keepsake.
A beautifully designed program booklet, including performer information and a complete listing of all repertoire performed.

The video must be one continuous, unedited take, with no audio processing. Please ensure that the audio is clear, and include:

☐the title of the piece, and

☐the composer with your submission.

How to submit video: Upload your video to YouTube as an “Unlisted” video and send the link to info@keysofasia.org . Please do not set it to “Private” or the organizer will not be able to view it.
